Product Information
Sonaspray is a spray-applied acoustic coating, available in a wide range of textures and colors, ideal for fast application and fitting any ceiling or wall shape. Sonacoustic is a seamless acoustic plaster system with exceptional sound absorption and a smooth, refined finish — perfect for high-end architectural spaces.
Sonaspray comes in a wide array of textures—ranging from ultra-fine to coarse—and an extensive palette. Sonacoustic® offers a pristine, smooth white finish; custom colors can be discussed.
Absorption improves sound quality within a space by reducing echo and reverberation. Insulation stops sound from travelling between spaces. Asona products primarily focus on absorption.
By reducing reverberation and background noise, our systems create a calmer, more focused environment, improving communication, concentration, and well-being.
Our systems are used in offices, public spaces, hospitality, residential projects, theatres, museums, and many other environments where sound quality and comfort are important.
Applications
Both Sonaspray® and Sonacoustic® can be applied to a wide range of surfaces—such as concrete, plasterboard, metal ceilings, and other stable substrates—making them suitable for offices, schools, restaurants, theaters, and more.
Yes. While both systems are ideal for ceilings, applying them to walls is possible—particularly in areas above shoulder height to maximize effectiveness and maintain durability.
We do not recommend application on exteriors exposed to the elements, walkable surfaces like floors, or operating rooms and animal enclosures. Please consult us for boundary cases.
Installation
Yes. Our trained installers or approved partners ensure correct application and optimal performance of our systems.
The main requirements for installation are a clean workspace with access to water and electricity. The substrate must be clean and stable.
Yes, our acoustic specialists carry out an on-site visit to determine the optimal solution for your space.
Timing depends on the project’s size and complexity. Generally, 60% is preparation, 20% is spray or plaster application, and the last 20% is finishing and cleanup.
Drying time is variable depending on humidity and temperature. A well-ventilated space dries naturally, but fans can be used to accelerate the process.
We minimize disruption by carefully taping off adjacent areas and working efficiently. Many projects allow for partial or full continued use of the space.
Electrical Integration
Yes. Sonaspray or Sonacoustic can be applied over electrical or HVAC components, provided they are mounted flush and plaster thickness of at least 5 mm is maintained.
Yes. Finishing rings or templates can be used to neatly integrate lighting fixtures into the acoustic surface.
Maintenance & Durability
Absolutely. Regular cleaning with a vacuum and soft brush is all that’s needed. Small damages can be repaired discreetly.
If properly installed on clean, stable surfaces, both Sonaspray® and Sonacoustic® remain secure and durable for the long term.
With proper installation and normal use, our products can last for decades without performance loss.
Yes. Damaged areas can be repaired locally without removing the entire system, and colour/texture can often be matched seamlessly.
